Holiday - Cooked Cranberries (WInner)

This recipe comes right off the bag of store bought cranberries.
  • 1 lb bag of cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • Place all in a pot and heat over medium low heat, stirring frequently.  As the water begins to boil, the cranberries start to pop.  When they stop popping, turn off the heat and allow them to cool.  Refrigerate. 

Note from Sue:  The recipe may have come off the bag - but Joe used fresh cranberries from Wisconsin.
